Using Mobile Apps To Increase Sales

A couple of weeks ago, we launched our long awaited do-it-yourself (DIY) mobile app platform. H3DoesApps.com is live and answers questions as to what you can do and how it can help your brand.  But sometimes, you have to go a little deeper and explain how and why a mobile app can help push your sales and client interaction with your business.

Let’s face it, if you are a business owner, you have had this moment like the one above, where you feel like you are stuck in between a rock and hard place with your business and sales and fear you might never get out. And you are trying like heck to think outside of the box, but nothing is coming to mind.

Well, that’s why H3 Designs is here and we are going to take you outside the box. Especially in the North Country market, how many businesses other than the “big box retailers” do you know have a mobile app available to customers/clients? Off the top of my head, I don’t know if there is one small business in the area that has invested in a mobile application.

Why is this important to you? That means no matter your market , it is ripe for the taking. You would have an immediate edge on any competition. You can put your brand in the consumer’s hand anytime you wish.

As you can see in the infographic above, 89% of mobile app users spend through time accessing media through mobiles apps, and not their mobile web browser. That’s not just a little gap, that is a sizable gap that should stand out to business owners and what they are missing out on when it comes to mobile users.

Now, I don’t have to show you any stats for you to understand that people are always using their phones, especially the younger demographic.  What better way for you to introduce them to your brand than through their mobile device. With the proper promotion and execution, you can help increase your sales with very little effort. Once built, the app will do the work for you.

What can my app do that my website can’t?

Real quick, no this doesn’t mean that websites are dying or provide any less functionality. Websites are powerful and will continue to be. But, here is where the apps come in.

With an app you can send users of your app push notification announcing any flash sales, new items/dishes, event reminders, and so much more. You can’t do that with your website.

Have a loyalty program with paper cards? And how much of pain in the you know what is that? Imagine creating an app with a loyalty program built in where you just verify their purchase and they can check to see where they are at anytime right from your very own app.

Those are just two ways you app can stand out from your website. Giving you unprecedented access to every demographic.

How can I utilize my website and mobile app together?

Now with both a website and mobile app, you can really pull a deadly one-two punch for your brand. Your business is literally accessible anytime anywhere. The best part is that in your mobile app, you can pull in web views of your website without the user ever leaving your app. That’s right, you can use your website in your app.

You can use them hand in hand to compliment each other and push your brand further than you ever thought. You can use each platform to promote the other. Use your social platforms in both web & mobile apps to create even more buzz.

At the end of the day, the possibilities are endless and worth the investment.
